Construction began on 4/2/99.

In the beginning...the tank was bare.                                                    Overflow with two 1" bulkheads

Overflow built by and holes were drilled by a friend in the local Detroit area, drop me a line if you need this type of work done and I'll forward your info to him.

This is a 35 gallon with 1/4" plexiglass dividers for the sump.        Two layers of eggcrate on 1" PVC pieces of pipe.
This will be used as a refugium type of sump.

Next came two layers of fiberglass screen.                        40lbs of CaribSea 00150 provides 1.5 inches above the
                                                                                        eggcrate.

A second single layer of fiberglass screen material.       29lbs of CaribSea 0050 provides an additional 1".
